How it All Started
The idea of developing our new website with a renovated image comes as we wanted to provide an interactive page focused on the user experience, more attractive, and easier to navigate for all our customers and the general public.
Pluriza´s image evolves to show its new contemporary and modern style. That is how we started to develop our website all over again, which was a great opportunity for us to reflect our essence as a multidisciplinary team.
A talented group of our most skilled UX/UI designers, full-stack developers, marketers, and project managers had the mission to carry out our new website. Each of these members is not only considered a leader in their own areas, but also representatives of our culture, our values, and our company. They were committed to going beyond their individual activities, working together as a team, and share with the entire digital community our best face, the one that defines us and who we are in Pluriza.
Our Design Inspiration
In terms of design; for the development of our new site, we kept in mind the graphical perspective at a conceptual level, as we wanted to establish a new design proposal that will help visitors to have a pleasant experience of usability. This was achieved through a User Journey Map, which was gradually developed in collaboration with experts and potential visitors. The original corporate colors were replaced by Pluriza´s new range of colors; more saturated to create better contrasts and a cleaner, refreshed, and user-friendly image.
Dynamism was considered a priority, as well as the use of text hierarchy, in order to help users to have a proper reading order. In addition, a new font-type was implemented, called “Kollektif”, a Sans Serif typography with very good readability for websites.
The Programming Process
When programming the web page, we tried to use the most advanced technologies (state-of-art technologies) in the market, therefore we chose a very popular framework in the web development world nowadays, which is Next.js. This is a small framework that is considered the future of the applications with React since it offers great advantages in terms of performance, and SEO which allows not only to have a higher organic positioning but also to make use of very sophisticated architecture patterns that we like to implement when creating different products for our clients. Among other technologies, it is also worth mentioning contentful, a CMS platform that allows us to build very important digital experiences when it comes to creating new content and get closer to the community that is constantly following us.
For the written content, we aimed to transmit through concise and brief texts, key concepts in relation to our organization, our services, our work, among others, so our users would feel attracted and interested in the material that identifies us.
Finally, it was about time to put together all these ideas, content material to start building our new website, so we based our project on an iterative work plan that allowed us flexibility, feedback, and analysis for the development of the product, to avoid losing perspective and the work pace in the details.
